BOGE receives an award
60 Jahre HMI

60 years as an exhibitor at the Hanover Industrial Trade Fair – to celebrate the occasion, the BOGE CEOs Thorsten Meier and Wolf D. Meier-Scheuven (from left to right) accepted a certificate from Marc Siemering, CEO of the Hanover Trade fair today.

Hanover, 27/04/2017. The Bielefeld family company BOGE has presented itself at the Hanover Industrial Trade Fair with its innovative compressed air solutions since 1957. To honour these six decades of cooperation, Marc Siemering, CEO of the Hanover Trade Fair handed the company a certificate on 27 April. The BOGE CEOs Wolf D. Meier-Scheuven and Thorsten Meier accepted the award at the trade fair stand. Another cause for celebration was the birthday of the company's founder Otto Boge. He would have been 139 years old. This was an occasion for the CEOs to invite all Boge employees from around the world to coffee or lunch.

“The Hanover trade fair, as an innovation forum for international industry, is the ideal platform to present our sophisticated compressed air solutions to a specialist audience”, commented Wolf D. Meier-Scheuven, CEO of BOGE KOMPRESSOREN during the award. This year's trade fair presentation for the company goes under the motto of compressed air technology 4.0. A highlight is the unique BOGE selectcair service range, which is the ideal complement to the innovative and extremely low-maintenance high speed turbo-compressor (BOGE HST). With proactive data analysis, continuous technological improvement and 24-hour recovery, BOGE is redefining customer service. There are live demonstrations daily at the trade fair stand, to show how simple it is to change machine components using smart glasses. With a 3D model of the smart factory, the family company is also giving insight into intelligent networking of compressors and other devices for the first time.  “The courage to present true technological innovations is part of the DNA of BOGE”, says Thorsten Meier, CEO of BOGE. “Otto Boge made a name for himself as an inventor and visionary in his time.” The company founder was present at the celebration on the occasion of his 139th birthday and the BOGE “60 years at the Hanover trade fair” anniversary, in the form of a life-sized installation.
