Winemaking

In wine making, air compressors are used in a variety of tasks. In most cases, oil and germ-free air is used. Compressed air displaces and transports fluids while aerating ingredients at the same time. Even if compressed air is used as a purge gas in the tank washer, it must be oil and germ-free. Compressed air must be oil-free and dry however, if it is used as an energy source in pneumatic transport or as an auxiliary power supply in MCR technology.
